Brian McAsey is a University of Calgary graduate in Philosophy and Classics. He is a firefighter and a filmmaker, poet, past opera performer, and fiction writer. Brian co-produced the prestigious CTV Bell documentary feature, Girls Don't Fight and produced the award winning independent documentary film, The Deeper You Go. He is retired from the sport of wrestling but still competes as a marathon, ultra marathon, and Ironman athlete.
